design statement: The overall desire in upgrading this kitchen was for a cleaner look, easy maintenance and greater function of available space. The owners were interested in their own short term enjoyment as well as buyer appeal when they got ready to market their home. A custom work island with pan drawers and electrical outlet was created to complete the existing work triangle. Upgrades included cabinetry with designer hardware, countertops, tile backsplash, stove hood, sink and faucet, dishwasher, flooring and walls.
